We have updated the WLYH Rules and Regulations effective January 1, 2026. In addition, we have published a collection policy, also effective January 1, 2026.
The changes were last approved by the WLYH Board of Directors on December 9, 2025 and approved by the WA Airstream Club Board of Trustees on December 16, 2025. You can find the new rules and collection policy on the Documents page in the member portal.
The following changes were made to rule 5.3.3 (additions / changes highlighted):
5.3.3. Airstream Ownership
Lessees must maintain ownership and registration of an Airstream product (and compatible tow vehicle, as appropriate) for the duration of their lease in the WLYH unless the BOD has approved the sale or transfer of the Airstream product. Multiple lessees may not use the same Airstream product to comply with this requirement. Lessees shall annually verify ownership by presenting to WLYH office staff a copy of the current registration in the lessee’s name. This verification may be done in person or by electronic means and must be done at the time Housekeeping Fees are due (see Housekeeping Fees). If the currently registered Airstream product or tow vehicle is sold or transferred, the lessee must present the WLYH with a copy of the replacement registration(s) within 60 days. Lessees may submit a request to the Board (BOD) for approval to dispose of their Airstream under the following condition: After five (5) years as a lessee, residents provide a doctor’s statement that they are no longer safe to drive or tow their Airstream product.
The following changes were made to rule 3.1 (additions / changes highlighted):
3.1. Late Payment Penalty
If the Housekeeping Fee is not paid according to the approved payment schedule, a penalty fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100) per month plus legal and collection fees incurred in collection of delinquent fees will be added to the unpaid balance due. The total balance will then be due immediately. The Annual Housekeeping Fee will be accepted from said resident in one lump sum only for future payments. Fees and penalties delinquent for more than ninety (90) days will be considered as sufficient cause for termination of the lease (see Lease Termination).
