Updated Policies Effective April 2026

We have updated the WLYH Policies effective April 1, 2026. The changes were last approved by the WLYH Board of Directors on March 10, 2026. You can find the new policies on the Documents page in the member portal.

The following changes were made to policy 6.1.2 (additions / changes highlighted):

6.1.2. Rental Procedures

The scheduling, coordinating, invoicing and documenting of the rental of WLYH facilities is the responsibility of the Operations Manager. Harmony Hall and the Gatehouse may be rented by Washington Airstream Club members for scheduled events including parties, anniversaries, weddings receptions, family reunions, and other functions as long as they do not conflict with scheduled Club activities. WBCCI member memorial services held in the Hall are free of charge except for a cleaning/damage deposit which must be paid prior to the memorial service. The use of WLYH facilities for commercial events such as sales presentations, “pop-up” shops, or for-profit trade shows, is prohibited. The rental rates of the facilities are approved and controlled by the Board. Rental of WLYH facilities to any Airstream-related group that are not members of the Washington Airstream Club is at the discretion of the Board.

The following policy was added:

6.1.3. Unscheduled Use of Harmony Hall

When Harmony Hall is not reserved for a scheduled event, it is available at no charge for shared use by Club members and Terraport guests. During posted hours, users may access the Hall using a provided electronic door code to enjoy activities such as reading in the library, playing games, socializing under the pergolas, or using the exercise equipment. To ensure the space remains available for everyone’s enjoyment, unscheduled use must not include actions that interfere with shared access, such as rearranging furniture, playing loud music, or using the video projector. All users are responsible for maintaining the Hall’s cleanliness. Leaving the Hall in disarray will lead to the loss of future usage rights.
